Moosey-Moose Plays in the Snow

Hi Boys and Girls,

Whew! Playing in the snow is hard work. I haven't had this much fun in a long time. Sleepy Bear and I had a snow ball fight. Well, we were just playing so we had fun. And then we went inside and drank hot cocoa. Then we went back outside to play in the snow, then back inside to drink more hot cocoa. I think I drank too much hot cocoa today. My tummy is a little icky right now.

I think snow angels are fun to make but it's kinda hard, too. You have to be very careful when you stand up so you don't step on your snow angel.

I have to go read now. Sleepy Bear said he is going to finish his book club book tomorrow. I wonder what book we will read next time.

Stay warm. Your friend,

Moosey-Moose

Moosey-Moose Plays in the Snow -

Hi Boys and Girls!

Are you having fun in the snow? I am. Sleepy Bear and I built a snowman! I think it's funny looking. Then we made snow angels. That was really cool!

We're going to warm up for a while then we'll go back outside and have a contest to see who can make the biggest snow ball! I think I'm going to win.

Have fun in the snow. Be sure to wear a warm coat, mittens and a hat.

Bye for now,

Moosey-Moose Meets His Relatives #3

Hi Friends,

I'm glad you like my new sweater. I really really really like it. Especially now because the weather is getting colder. The weather man said it's going to freeze tonight. I hope everyone bundles up and stays warm.

Zeena asked me if I saw the picture she made for Kathleen. Yes, she showed it to me then she took it back to school to hang on her wall. She said she would like a picture of you, too.

Remember when Kathleen told me she wants me to read to her for her holiday present? Well, the time is getting closer for me to do that. I've been practicing and reading Sleepy Bear's book for his book club so I think I'm ready. Now I need to find a story to read to her. Maybe a holiday picture book. Do you have any suggestions?

Oh, my favorite color is yellow just like my old sweater.

OK, well, I have to go now. I'm going to help Kathleen wrap presents! I can't wait.

Stay warm.

Moosey-Moose Meets His Relatives #2

Hi Friends,

Yes, I really did visit the real life reindeer! Kathleen and her husband drove me to Swansen's Nursery where they were visiting. It was lots of fun to see the reindeer. They look a little like cows, a little like oxen, and a little like me. Their fur is mostly like mine, soft and cool looking.

Kathleen bought my sweater for me. I'm not sure which store it's from. I really like it. I hope I get another one for the holidays.

Yeah, I'm reading Sleepy Bear's book for his book club. I never thought I would like reading so much. But Sleepy Bear has been helping me with the tricky words so I like it more. I understand what I'm reading now. But sometimes I get stuck so I have to ask him to help me. He told me to ask myself questions about what I'm reading and if I don't have a clue then I need to re-read. That sounds like a lot of work. But I tried it once and then I understood what I read and the story made sense. That reminds me, I need to go read.

Have a great day at school tomorrow.

Moosey-Moose Meets His Relatives

Hi Guys and Gals!

Guess what I did today?! I got to visit my relatives visiting in Seattle. These are pictures of me with a reindeer. There were two of them in the pen. Both of them had really big horns called racks. They're very sharp at the ends. They look heavy, too. Much heavier than mine. I got to visit with them for about half an hour. Maybe Kathleen will take me again next week.

Oh, did you notice my new sweater? Kathleen bought that for me yesterday. I've been wanting a new sweater for a really long time. This one is cozy and I think I look pretty good in it, too. What do you think?

Someone asked about Flower. She's doing OK. She's busy getting ready for the holidays. Maybe next time she'll go to the movies with me. I hope I get to go again.

Zeena, I hope you're feeling better. I have not gotten sick but Kathleen has not been feeling very good. I hope she doesn't get sick, too. I tell her to drink lots and lots and lots of juices and to get lots of sleep.

Well, I hope you like my pictures of the reindeer and me.
Bye for now,

Just Another Day for Moosey-Moose

Hi Friends,

Wow! I love getting messages from all of you!

Well, I don't know how much of the movie I should tell because not everyone has seen it - and I don't want to give away the good parts. But I thought it was real funny. I saw the first one a long time ago. I liked that one, too.

Yes, I am the one who made the brownies. Well, I had some help from Sleepy Bear. Hmmmm, that reminds me. We have not had brownies in a really long time. I think we should make some more. I will ask Sleepy Bear what he thinks.

Oh, Zeena said she had Italian food for dinner yesterday. That is my favorite kind of food. I really like raviolis. Kathleen makes raviolis sometimes. She puts different kinds of fillings in them.

Our house is starting to look like like Christmas. Kathleen and her husband are decorating. I help them a little bit.

OK, time for me to go. Bye for now,

Moosey-Moose
