Moosey-Moose Travels to New York City - Day 2 Night

Hi Friends,

Whew! What a day! Sleepy Bear and I walked and walked and walked for miles all over the city! These are two pictures of Times Square. This is the neighborhood where all the Broadway shows play. Like Lion King and Mary Poppins. I love this city!

Celina, what did your brother and uncle see when they were here?

I have to go to bed now. It's 3 hours later here than in Seattle. So if it's 9pm there, it's midnight here!

Tomorrow is another fun-filled day. I think we are going to Central Park to ride a horse!

Moosey-Moose Travels to New York City - Day 2

Hi!

Wow! New York City is totally cool! There are buildings, and cars and people, lots of people, EVERYWHERE! Sleepy Bear was scared but not me. We rode in a taxi cab all the way from the airport to our hotel. That was better than a ride at Disneyland! I'll give you the address of our hotel so maybe you can find it on a map. I'll ask the concierge and tell you later.

I gotta go now and explore some more.

Hi!

This is so cool! Sleepy Bear and I are flying to New York City! This is me sitting on the airplane. Sleepy Bear is sitting next to me. I hope he doesn't try to stretch out too much when he falls asleep because I like having the whole entire seat to myself! But I'm not going to sleep. No sirree! I'm going to watch out my window and talk to the flight attendants, and eat snacks, and lunch, and, well, I don't know what else.

I'll write again from our hotel room. I hope it's a big hotel!

Moosey-Moose Wants An Adventure - Again

Hi Friends,

Yup, I celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday, too. I read a bunch of his books on Monday. Sleepy Bear read some with me. They're very funny and sometimes goofy. I wonder what it would be like to have a Thing 1 and a Thing 2 come to the house and play when Kathleen is away. Hmmm... I wonder where I can get some. Do you know?

Has Sleepy Bear told you where we're going? I can't wait!

Moosey-Moose Feeds the Birds

Hi Friends,

Guess what?! I saw some birds eating bird seed out of my bird feeder! It was really cool to see them munching on seeds. They also like to eat the suet. I'm really glad I got the bird feeder up for them so now they won't go hungry.

Speaking of getting hungry, I'm hungry. I'm going to go eat a snack.

Moosey-Moose's New Adventure

Hi Friends,

I didn't have very good luck building a snowman. I got distracted by some birds. My bird feeder was hanging above my head and the birds decided they wanted to eat at the same time I was trying to make a snowman. They kept dropping bird seed on my head! I was very annoyed. Besides, it was really cold outside, too, so I went back in the house.

Guess what? I'm getting ready to go on another traveling adventure! I'm so excited that I couldn't sleep very much last night. Oh, and Sleepy Bear is going with me. He told me that he wants to tell you where we're going. So, I have to keep it a secret.
