This is me sitting on top of a shelf of books. Behind me is the kids' section. All the sections, are color coded. That's why you see the sign behind me that says "Rose."
Next, I'm going to Powell's - the huge bookstore I Portland. 
This is bridge that splits in half and then both halves move up to let ships and boats go through. That's only for the really tall boats.
This is the waterway and some hotel buildings in the back.
The weather is a little bit cloudy but it's not cold at all. I'm having a great time! This is waaaay better than cleaning cat boxes and filling up bird feeders and sweeping floors at home. But remember, don't tell Sleepy Bear what I did!
Where should I go first? I can travel from west to east.
Or, I can travel from the east side of town to the west side of town. Hmmmm... One direction will take me to Powell's, the really huge bookstore. The other direction will take me to the water and cool sightseeing stuff.
Isn't this the coolest? I got tired of doing all of Sleepy Bear's chores, and besides, summer is almost over; I couldn't spend it doing chores. So, I took the last chance I had to go on an adventure.
I've been washing dishes all day. My fur is soaking wet. Too bad the weather isn't hot like last week. I could have gone swimming in the dish water and taken a bath at the same time!
