Moosey-Moose Answers His Mail

Hi Friends,

This is super cool! I have lots of mail to answer.

Someone asked me if I was scared when I went parasailing in Cabo last yer. Yeah, I was a little bit scared, but not enough to keep me from trying it. And I'm glad I did because I had a blast!

Grace said she's making a tag for my backpack. That's a good idea for me to label my stuff when I travel. I've been lucky so far because I haven't lost anything - yet.

Lizbeth asked me if I like to draw. I like to draw a little bit. I don't think I'm very good at it so I don't do it much.

Isau asked me what 52+52 is. It's 104! Did I get it right?

Sleepy Bear is trying to get me to read again. I tried it last year because I wanted to read a book to Kathleen for her Christmas present. But I haven't read since then. Reading is too hard so I don't do it much.

OK, well, I gotta go now. Thanks for the mail!

Moosey-Moose Goes Swimming

Hi Friends,

Yesterday Grace said she had swimming lessons. That reminded me that I had swimming lessons, too. Swimming is a cool sport and it's great exercise.

First I have to push my turtle floaty across the patio and into the pool. Good thing my muscles are really strong.
Finally I get my floaty into the pool and the hard work begins. I have to use my hooves to paddle myself around the pool. Sometimes I have to take a break.

Whew! That was a hard workout. Now I get to rest while my hair dries.
Tell me what is your favorite sport to get exercise and we can compare notes.
Bye for now,
Moosey-Moose

Moosey-Moose and Sleepy Bear Are Friends Again

Hi Friends,

You were right. Sleepy Bear accepts my apology! I never thought I would miss Sleepy Bear so much but I did. I'm never going to play a trick like that again on my best friend.

Sleepy Bear is pretty cool! And I'm lucky to have him as my friend.

Bye for now,

Moosey-Moose Answers His Mail

Hi,

I haven't written in a while. I've been waiting for Sleepy Bear to read my letter to him. I hope he forgives me. I know he's been sick, too, so maybe he's waiting to feel better before he tells me that he accepts his apology.

So, I'm just waiting, at home, answering my mail.

Someone asked if they could call me Moosey instead of Moosey-Moose. Well, thanks for asking me first but I like my whole name. I think it sounds cool and it all goes together.

I want to go on another adventure but I don't know where to go. Last year at this time I was in Cabo San Lucas. That's on the Baja Peninsula. You can read all about my trip on my blog. Ahhhh... that was so much fun. But for now, I'm stuck at home.

I hope you write to me so I have something to do while I wait for Sleepy Bear.

Bye for now,

Moosey-Moose

Moosey-Moose Apologizes

Hi,

One of my friends who writes to me said Sleepy Bear would probably forgive me for leaving him to do all my chores while I went on an adventure if I tell him I'm really sorry. I hope she's right. Kathleen helped me to write an apology letter. I got some of the letters backwards but Sleepy Bear is a smart bear so I think he will know what I meant. I also got him this cool plant. It eats bugs. I hope he forgives me.

Wish me luck.

Moosey-Moose's Last Night In Portland

Hi Friends,

I'm exhausted! Walking all around Portland is hard work. But to tell you the truth, I'm getting kind of lonely here all by myself. Well, OK, I'm feeling a little bit bad because I left Sleepy Bear at home to do all my chores. It seemed like a fun trick at the time. But now I just feel bad. I'm going to finish munching on my trail mix and watch a movie then I'll go to sleep. Tomorrow I'll go back home to Seattle. I hope Sleepy Bear isn't too mad at me.
Wish me luck when I get home.

Moosey-Moose Has Wheels!

Hey! Look at me! This is a super cool way to get around town.

It's like a bicycle car. There's only one problem. My legs are too short. Shucks, what am I going to do?
