Moosey-Moose Travels to Someplace Warm and Sunny - Day 3

Hi Friends,

This is the best way to spend the day! I'm catching some sun with my friends Bear and Scaredy Pup. Oh, and of course Sleepy Bear. We were swimming all afternoon and now we're taking a siesta on the hammock. I learned that word, siesta, last year when I was in Cabo San Lucas.

As you can see, Sleepy Bear is having a hard time getting on the hammock. Must be all that whippy cream he eats!

OK, I decided to give him a paw to help him up.

It's almost time for us to go home. It sure was nice to have this sunny vacation in the middle of winter!

Grace, you were right - Sleepy Bear and I are in sunny San Diego! This is us sitting on the beach, watching the waves. You can't see them in this picture but there were some surfers in the ocean. Maybe I'll try surfing some day.

Today we plan to visit our friends who have a swimming pool.

Look at me!

I got super bored at home so I decided to hop on a jet plane and go someplace warm and sunny. I got on the plane in time for dinner. YUM YUM!!!

Guess where I'm going? I'll give you a hint. It's sunny, warm, and near the ocean.

Yeah, you're probably wondering why Sleepy Bear is traveling with me. He said he needed some sunshine, too. I told him he needed to stay home and take care of his Venus Fly Trap plant and read his book. But he said it would be OK to leave his plant at home for a few days. And he brought his book with him. So, I'll let him travel with me - this time.

Hi Friends,

Thanks to the person who told me to start reading easy books first then harder books. I'm going to go to the library today and maybe find something interesting. Hmmm, maybe a book about dinosaurs. I like dinosaurs and I've seen them at the Pacific Science Center. What do you think? Do you have some suggestions?

Oh, the person who gave me my dog was Isau. That was very thoughtful.

Chalise and Liz want to know if I had a good Christmas and what I did last weekend. Well, my Christmas was pretty cool. Over the weekend I watched movies and ate popcorn and drank soda. Then my stomach felt really sick. So, I went to bed early. Not too exciting.

Hi Everyone!

I know, it's been a really long time since I blogged. I was bogged down with chores. Well, OK, not really. I was just busy. But I'm back and ready for an adventure. But first I'll answer some of your questions.

My all time favorite adventure was the time I went to Cabo San Lucas with Kathleen. I got to go snorkeling and sit on the beach, and eat lots of food. But best of all, I went parasailing! Yeah, you can read all about my adventure if you go all the way back to the very beginning of my blog. My trip to Cabo San Lucas was my first adventure and my first time blogging.

Grace, I've never been bitten by a spider but Kathleen has. She says spider bites hurt. Spiders leave me alone. I'm lucky!

Well, Sleepy Bear says he's going to start a new book for his book club. He's trying to get me to join. I'm not a very good reader yet. Hmmm... What do you think I should do?

Hi Friends,

Wow! This is great that I get tons of mail but I miss traveling, too. I need to go somewhere cool. But first, I'll answer my mail.

Alaina, I'm really glad you like my blog. It's super cool that I get to travel and have adventures and then I get to blog about them. Sometimes my adventures get me into big trouble. Like the time I used the computer to order a bunch of presents. That didn't turn out so good for me. Or the time I left Sleepy Bear to do all my chores last summer. That wasn't cool either. Oh, have you met Sleepy Bear? He has his own blog, too. He thinks he's really smart because he has a book club for kids.

Adnel, I don't know if I'll be in Sleepy Bear's book club. I'm not a very good reader. Are you going to join his book club? I will if you will.

My pet dog is doing good. He poops a lot and I have to scoop it up. I don't like that. But he's a good friend.

Grace asked me what I want for Christmas. Well, I want lots of things. Can I get back to you on that one?

I hope it snows so I can make snow angels and a snowman again.
