Moosey-Moose Goes to New Orleans! Day 4

Hi Travel Buddies,

Today I visited Congo Square. There's a lot of history here! You can read about here.

This sign is in Armstrong Park in the Treme neighborhood of New Orleans.

I'll write more about Chief Tootie in my next blog entry. I gotta go explore some more.

Moosey-Moose Goes to New Orleans! Day 3

Hi Travel Buddies, look at me!

I'm sitting in the arms of a music legend. His name is Pete Fountain. This is at the place where I ate beignets. There are four more statues. One of Ronnie Kole, Antoine "Fats" Domino, Al "Jumbo" Hirt, and Chris Owens. I'm learning that New Orleans is where jazz music was born! Maybe I'll learn how to play the trumpet when I get home!

Today I'm going to walk around the French Quarter some more. New Orleans is a super cool and exciting city!

By for now,

Moosey-Moose
