Cool! Dessert time!
I never met a dessert I didn't like. Key lime pie is definitely tops on my list. Key lime pie is like a cheese cake, only better! Here's a link you can visit that will tell you all about the history of key lime pie: http://whatscookingamerica.net/History/PieHistory/KeyLimePie.htm. Guess what? It's not from New Orleans!
I have a few more places to visit, then I'm heading back home to Seattle. But first, I need to eat my pie.
Bye for now,

Moosey-Moose Goes to New Orleans! Day 5
Hi Travel Buddies,
It's lunch time!!!
Here in New Orleans there is a famous sandwich called a Po-Boy. It all started in 1929 when there was a strike by the people who operated the streetcars. Restaurants fed the men who were picketing. People would say, "Here comes another po-boy," and give him a sandwich. This food item became famous! If you want to read more, here is a link you can visit: http://www.poboyfest.com/history
Anyway, back to my sandwich. I'm having a crawfish po-boy. Crawfish is like shrimp and people in New Orleans love crawfish!
Check back later when I show you want I plan to have for dessert.
